A Closed Executive Session has been scheduled for today, April 13, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Friendsville Town Hall Council Chambers. The purpose of this session is to discuss a Code Enforcement case and to meet with the Garrett County Commissioners regarding the Haloacetic Acids (HAA5) Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) violation notices affecting the Town of Friendsville.

Effective March 16, 2026, the Town of Friendsville will no longer receive mail at P.O. Box 9.

All mail will be serviced by street delivery at the following address:

945 Community Drive
Friendsville, MD 21531

Please update your records to reflect this change and ensure that all future correspondence is sent to the new street address.

The Town of Friendsville announces the official results of the Municipal General Election held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

A total of 100 voters participated in the election.

Spencer R. Schlosnagle was elected Mayor of Friendsville.  Elected to the Friendsville Town Council were Michael Artice, Pamela S. Humberson and Edward B. Kelley.

The current terms expire on the first Monday in March, at which time the re-elected officials will begin a new two-year term.

Please note that the Town of Friendsville has updated its email address.

All future correspondence/invoices should be sent to our new email address: town@friendsvillemd.gov.

Please update your records accordingly to ensure continued communication without interruption.
