The Town of Friendsville wants residents to know that water is currently available.

We also want to acknowledge concerns regarding prolonged exposure to elevated disinfection byproducts (DBPs) in drinking water. While short-term exposure is generally not the primary concern, long-term exposure over many years may be associated with potential health risks. These concerns may be particularly important for residents who could be more vulnerable, including elderly individuals, medically compromised residents, and underserved members of our community.

🚰 Gallon Drinking Water Available

Gallon drinking water is available for residents who live within the town limits to pick up at Town Hall:

Monday–Thursday
9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

If you are unable to come during these hours, please call Town Hall at 301-746-5919 to arrange another pickup time.

We encourage residents to stay informed, follow any water-use advisories or recommendations issued by the Town and health authorities, and contact their healthcare provider if they have individual health concerns.

The Town of Friendsville is committed to keeping residents informed and working to protect the health and well-being of our entire community. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this issue together.
