Seasonal Maintenance Worker

Requirements:

✅ Must be 18 years of age
✅ High school education preferred
✅ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Duties Include:

  • Cleaning gutters, culverts, and drainage structures
  • Mowing, weed eating, and cutting brush and weeds.
  • Spreading dirt, sand, and other materials with shovels
  • Operating tractors and gas-powered tools
  • Assisting in loading garbage from trash receptacles
  • Performing other assigned tasks as directed by supervisors or the Mayor.

Minimum Wage: $15.00 per hour

Zoning Ordinance Revision – Monthly Work Session March 10, 2026

The Friendsville Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a monthly Work Session with Dan Bowling of Mackin Engineers & Consultants to review and update the Town of Friendsville Zoning Ordinance.

When: Second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
Where: Council Chambers, Friendsville Town Hall, 945 Community Drive, Friendsville, MD

PLEASE NOTE the next monthly meeting will be held on March 10, 2026.

These meetings are open to the public. Citizens and media are welcome to attend as observers. Participation is limited unless individuals are specifically invited to contribute as resource persons.

Friendsville Municipal General Election Results

The Town of Friendsville announces the official results of the Municipal General Election held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

A total of 100 voters participated in the election.

Spencer R. Schlosnagle was elected Mayor of Friendsville.  Elected to the Friendsville Town Council were Michael Artice, Pamela S. Humberson and Edward B. Kelley.

The current terms expire on the first Monday in March, at which time the re-elected officials will begin a new two-year term.
