The Friendsville Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Friendsville Town Hall in the council chambers. The Board will review the following docketed cases:

  1. SE-2025-03: An application submitted by Town of Friendsville to allow “Special Exception” in the General Commercial District zone, Pursuant to Section 406.B.4.c & d and section 410.B.18. of the Friendsville Zoning Ordinance. The Property located at 279 Maple Street, Friendsville, MD 21531.
  2. VR-2025-03: An application submitted by Alana Humberson, has applied for a variance review of the parking & signage requirements.  Pursuant to section 600H of the Friendsville Zoning Ordinance.   The property is located at 254 Maple Street, Friendsville, MD 21531.
  3. VR-2025-01: An application submitted by Deborah Speicher & DeAnna Schroyer, has applied for a variance to request hardship regarding the 20’ rear setback for the property for Town Center Pursuant to section 1005.C.1-7. of the Friendsville Zoning Ordinance.   The property is located at 133 Walnut Street, Friendsville, MD 21531.
