9/11 Honor and Remembrance

Join us on September 11th for the annual Honor and Remembrance service to honor the victims and heroes of September 11, 2001 and to recognize and thank those who continue to give of their lives to help others everyday.  Woodmen Life Chapter #45 is sponsoring a special dedication ceremony called, “In Honor and Remembrance – Woodmen Salutes America’s Heroes”.

The service will be held in the Friendsville Community Fire Hall at 122 Walnut Street beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Floatilla update!!

The Floatilla that was originally scheduled for July 29th will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.  Registration is from 1 p.m to 2p.m. at Precision Rafting.  Entry line-up starts at 4:45p.m.   There will be some great prizes and a no cost registration fee. Movie in the Park

Friendsville Community Watch, Friendsville Fire and Rescue Department and the Friendsville Days Committee are sponsoring  a “movie in the park” this Saturday, August 12th beginning at 8:00 p.m. (the movie will begin at dusk) in the Community Park in front of the stage.  The movie will be “Baby Boss”.  Bring your blankets and lawn chairs.  There will be free popcorn, cookies and school supplies!!  Food will also be available for purchase at the Friendsville Lion’s Club concession stand.

Fireworks will follow the movie.
